Master Instructor Shlomo Kapelnikov

Born in Jaffa, Israel, Shlomo has been teaching self defense in Los Angeles for 20 years. A student of martial arts since age ten, he is a Master Degree Black Belt in the art of Machatz, and a top master in his field.

Shlomo immigrated to the United States in 1975, and became an American citizen in 1994. He has invested 25 years of study in Kung-Fu San Soo under two masters: Master Andre Salvage and Master Larry Wikel. His devotion as a father to a 20-year-old daughter, and his love for children, has fueled his passion for developing a special program for children's self-defense.

Shlomo believes in leadership and power of the self. Having served four years in the Israeli Army, he is well-trained in the power of the mind and the body.

The ability and willingness to learn and adapt to new situations has become part of his life. His expertise in the use of power, strength, defense and offense techniques has allowed him to build, as well as reinforce, the character of men, woman and children, with an overwhelming sense of pride, respect and dedication to himself and to others.
